The "Cheviot" is a mixte frame from Rivendell Bicycle Works.
In comparison to other frames from Rivendell, the Cheviot is great for "general getting around". It might become a bike that you mostly rode when you look back ten, twenty, or maybe thirty years!
The sloped top tube makes it easy for anybody to hop on and give you a comfy feeling when riding. It almost feels as if you were on an old comfy chair.
You might feel that the top tube is slightly long, but that is for having swept-back handlebars.
