Dropouts is a brand of ours, where we put focus on unique ideas that most people may “drop”. The person behind this new brand is Kaneyan, the Hatagaya mechanic, who always comes up with crazy ideas.

The first products are a jacket and pants made from breathable mesh fabric.

Inspired by the work clothes Kaneyann used in his daily life, this piece took shape from a leap of imagination asking, “What would the evolution of work pants look like?”

The front features a lightweight yet durable recycled nylon fabric that protects the area below the knees from dirt and abrasions,
while the back uses mesh from just above the knees down to the ankles, resulting in long pants that balance breathability and functionality.

The bold front slit provides massive ventilation enough to almost reveal what’s underneath.
You’ll experience a whole new sensation as the design draws in a powerful rush of air with every movement.

With summer sun getting stronger every year, air conditioning that suddenly kicks in, creeping insects, and summer outfits that tend to get sloppy before you know it,
this is a piece that will make you think, “This might actually be pretty good,” in all kinds of situations
