IRC (Inoue Rubber Co., Ltd.) is a Japanese tire manufacturer with a long history and a proven track record of producing high-quality tires.

To celebrate its 100th anniversary, IRC has brought back the legendary CLAW SERIES COMP LITE for a limited run!

IRC began developing mountain bike tires back in the early days of MTB in the 1980s. By the 1990s, the company was supplying tires to the YETI CYCLES factory team, making a name for itself alongside some of the world's top riders.

At the legendary Kamikaze Downhill race held at Mammoth Mountain, California, IRC-equipped riders claimed a total of four victories and set a then-course record with an astonishing top speed of 95.7 km/h.

IRC has certainly earned its place in the history of mountain biking and off-road tires.

For this special reissue, IRC has faithfully recreated the original tread pattern and packaging from back in the day. Honestly, the packaging alone looks cool enough to put on display!

While retaining the distinctive block shapes and knob arrangement of the original, the updated version features lightweight, flexible aramid beads.

The rubber compound and other details have also been refined to meet modern standards, offering improved ride comfort and smooth rolling performance.

We really wish IRC would keep making these forever, but unfortunately, they're only available in limited quantities.
