The "Single Pinch Stem" is a chromoly steel stem made by NITTO exclusively for BLUE LUG.

Based on NITTO’s UI-2 stem, it has been redesigned as a retro-style single-bolt stem for modern bikes.

As the name suggests, a single bolt secures the handlebar.

Its classic look works well with a wide range of bikes, from off-road builds to track bikes and commuter bikes.

Available in two different angles: 10° and 0°.

The 10° version is ideal for a low, forward riding position with flat or drop bars. Compared to a stem with an open clamp, it also offers a cleaner, more streamlined look.

The 0° version has a straight, old-school silhouette that feels fresh again. It pairs especially well with old-school MTB builds, dirt-ready bikes, and bikes with wide tires.

This stem was born from a casual conversation at BLUE LUG Yoyogi Park shop, during an after-hours workshop session: “Wouldn’t it be great to use a retro stem like the ones we loved back in the day on modern bikes?”

Note : The decal is included only on the DULL finish. The BLACK finish does not have the decal.
