They are mini V-brake calipers, which you can use with road brake levers, while having a similar stopping power as a V-brake.

If you cyclocross and feeling stressed with the less stopping power of a caliper brake, this is the solution.

The uniquely curved design gives a ton of space, so there are no worries of mud getting stuck while riding on dirt.

They also have plenty of space to fit fenders, so they're great for commuters as well.
