RITCHEY, the long-established bicycle component brand named after its founder, Tom Ritchey.

The BUTANO is an aluminum drop bar featuring a moderate flare, shallow drops, and a short reach, making it easy to control while maintaining a comfortable riding position.

This is the CLASSIC version, finished with a beautiful polished silver surface.

Around 50 years ago, Tom Ritchey, his mentor Jobst Brandt, and a group of like-minded friends spent countless hours exploring remote trails and rough gravel roads around Butano State Park in Northern California.

The pioneering riding style they developed on these adventure rides became the inspiration for the BUTANO handlebar.

The bar is designed with comfort in mind, featuring an ErgoAero top section for a more comfortable hand position.

With a generous 12° flare and shallow drop, the BUTANO provides excellent control on both paved roads and gravel.

It is made from lightweight and highly rigid Double-Butted 6066 Alloy.
