The Sandwich Seat Adapter was invented by Joe Breeze in the 1970s. The product enables double rail leather saddles with springs to be used on common clamp type seat posts.

Brooks manufactured these based on Joe's schematics.

With this, you could install saddles like the B66, B18, B66S, B72, B135, B190 and more saddles designed for straight seat posts onto common seat posts like the Nitto 65 seat post.
