OVERVIEW
Fork Pack
The Fork Pack from our original bicycle component/accessory brand Fairweather.
It is a bolt-on pannier bag that could be attached on the triple-eyelet on the forks without a rack, cargo cage or additional straps. The bag attaches firmly on the fork due to the bolt-on feature.
The mounting section features a unique sandwich structure in which the back of the bag is held between two aluminum plates made by MKS, the Japanese pedal manufacturer.
Dyneema® Composite Fabric Hybrid (DCF HYBRID) used for the main material of the bag. This makes the bag lightweight and gives the bag high water repellency and durability.
Two sizes available. 5L and 2.5L.
2.5L - Perfect for stowing sleeping bags or tent tarps. Bar bag+frame bag+fork pack x2=a neat balanced packing. It's rather a versatile size.
5L - Great for stowing items that are around 40cm, such as tent poles. They are also large enough to easily hold groceries and other items.
Using the STUFF SACK 10L as a pack liner makes it easier to pack and unpack your gear and further enhances water resistance.
By deliberately omitting a detachable mounting mechanism and instead attaching the bag directly to the fork, we’ve achieved a level of lightness and stability not found in panniers or cargo cage bags.
The Fork Pack is recommended for riders who challenge themselves with ultradistance races, bikepacking enthusiasts and other riders who seek for adventures on bikes.
MADE IN JAPAN
*The bags are sold individually. Please purchase two for a right and left set up.
*Please note that this product cannot be installed on forks where the triple-eyelets are offset diagonally rather than perpendicular to the wheel.
*You are able to purchase the bag without the plates, in case you need to repurchase. Please contact us if that is the case.
*The specs of the bag may change depending on the production lot.
