OVERVIEW
You can agree that Nitto makes the best bike components. Period.
Centered around the BLUE LUG crew, the Monthly Mountain Cycling Club, also known as “Monthly MTB,” rides a wide range of terrain, from local mountain trails and bike parks to ski resort courses.
The members of "Monthly MTB" designed this handlebar to make jumping and riding trails feel even more natural and enjoyable.
It was developed from a completely different approach, but when the finished bar came out looking almost identical to the "Sync Bar", we decided to call it the "Sync Bar XL".
The rise angle, which has a big influence on how easily you can lift the front end, is set slightly flatter to match the head angles of modern MTBs.
The rise is designed to give you a slightly higher position, regardless of the size of your bike.
The grip area has a strong upsweep, making it easier to put power through the bar all the way to your pinky. The backsweep is also designed to bring the grips slightly closer to you than a standard handlebar.
The smooth, gradual shape was developed with Nitto to keep the bends as gentle as possible, helping to spread stress across the bar.
For experienced MTB riders, it has a bit of a unique character. For beginners, it may feel like you've suddenly grown wings.
And while it was designed with MTB in mind, it's also a great choice for other bikes, such as fixed gears and flat-bar gravel bikes.
