PHILWOOD, phenomenal bike components brand from San Jose, CA. Simple, elegant, and life-lasting designs from 1971.

This crown race allows you to use headsets designed for larger diameter steerer tubes on forks with smaller diameter steerer tubes.
Convert the diameter from 1.5" (ZS44/28.6 & EC44/40) into 1-1/8" (ZS44/28.6 & EC44/40).

This is a thing like the devolution plate of CHRIS KING.

Great for installing PHILWOOD 1.5 tapered headset + original fork (1-1/8") onto SURLY Midnight Special and Lowside.

Beautifully machined from a chunk of stainless steel.
Thicker than the other ones and ready for re-installaition.
