The teeth are lined up with two different widths that matches the inside and outside of chains to hold the chain in place, avoiding dropped chains while shifting through gears quickly and when riding hard.

This is an oval chainring, not usual round one.

Oval chainrings are designed to make pedaling smoother and more efficient.
It gives more steady torque for the rear wheel and provides more traction.
You can easily get more pedaling force in the power zone and more comfortable pedaling in the recovery zone.

Smooth shifting is promised due to the high quality machining.

Best for 1x setup XC bikes and MTBs.
