*WTB* kom tough i40 rim

Founded in 1982 in Marin County, California, the birthplace of mountain biking, WTB (Wilderness Trail Bikes) has been a trusted name in the bicycle industry for decades.

The KOM Tough i40 is a rim designed with strength and durability in mind, built to withstand the demands of aggressive riding.

With a 40mm internal width, this rim is optimized for mountain bikes running tires approximately 2.6–3.0 inches wide.

Constructed from tough 6069 aluminum alloy, it delivers excellent durability while keeping weight to a minimum.

Its Dual I-Beam construction further enhances strength and lateral stiffness, making it capable of handling even the most aggressive riding.

WTB's proprietary TCS 2.0 technology features a "Solid Strip" that covers the nipple holes inside the rim.

By creating a smoother surface and improving adhesion between the rim and tubeless tape, this system provides a more reliable tubeless setup.

From the demanding courses of the Enduro World Series to everyday trail rides and bikepacking adventures in remote areas, the KOM Tough has proven itself in a wide range of riding conditions, truly living up to its name: KOM (King of the Mountain).
